When the Camera Disappears

I gave her just a few simple cues—

but the way she laughed, the way she moved—

that was all her.

She didn’t hold back.

She felt safe. And seen.

That’s what I care about most when I take photos—

creating a space where people don’t have to try.

They just get to be.

And that’s where the magic is.
